Clarice is Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer's girlfriend. She is featured in two of the Rudolph specials, the 1964 tv film Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and the 2001 sequel Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and the Island of Misfit Toys.
As A Name
Clarice is a variant of Clara meaning clear, bright, famous. It was most popular in 1979 when Clarice was ranked at #142. In 2015 only 42 baby girls were given the name. I wonder how many of those baby girls were named after the reindeer.
